  • Totally agree, I was not impressed with her ignorant comment!

  • "self indulgence is an absolutely necessary part of any creative endeavor." couldn't ask to have it better put, Rog. very well said. which begs the question, what do people want from great music and great art? somehow, they want it to be great, but they don't want to hear any self-indulgence. well, perhaps they should take off the headphones and stare at a pair of sneakers instead. she probably read that opinion and borrowed it anyway. typical.

  • @93hipgnosis you mean it is only effective after one has become an accomplished artist, which by the way, is completely wrong. an unaccomplished artist inevitably is thinking, in so many words, "indulge me", knowing that although they might put on a front as though their tune is the greatest you've ever heard, it is more than likely probably not even close. anyway, in the end, the only important point to be made here is that Roger is the bees-fakkin'-knees and that's really all there is to it.

  • @argoninja2112 self indulgence is only affective after once has become an accomplished artist.

  • See you in Nov. at the Big Joint in Philly for your Masterpeice The Wall.../O-O\

  • @Mr2009Truth

    Yes

Just there for the event and to go berserk when they hear the opening notes of 'Money'

    The only song they know.

  • @Gandhiablo He never called his true fans that. However, it's absolutely true that when a band gets as big as Pink Floyd became, half of the people who go to their concerts, (or Roger's concerts to hear those songs) are going to be the type that are there for the event, rather than the music itself and the content within. Those are the people he means, without a doubt. They behave like idiots, and (though unrelated to this post) I doubt they own and/or appreciate Roger's solo work.

  • ROger is Pink Floyds child. Pulse would been better if he was there

  • ha ha, charade you are

  • Where's the interview when he calls half his fans assholes?

  • Roger Waters looks exactly like God and is whimsical like Billy Corgan and is as humble as Ringo Starr.
