GoPro camera test in my Evo

Driving through the city, not a very interesting drive. Sound quality is pretty bad, visibility through the camera at night is so-so but it's surprisingly crisp on licence plates/street signs!

yeah, but the downside is it takes a maximum of a 2GB card and chews through batteries - you're frequently running out of space or charge and it's hard to tell.

I think the best of both worlds would be just a normal dig cam in "video" mode in the cabin to capture sound + in car plus the go pro on the outsice and merging the videos!

guess its great at day.. but night time is so so? but thats like it with any cam at night pretty much. id suggest a bigger GB. it can hold a lot bigger then 2

You can put any SD card in... 32gb is the max they make atm

Yeah yor right - I am still not certain what camera to get for my in car recording - was considering a go pro - but I dont want to keep changing the batteries all the time - and 2GB is rather small - that must be why its max video time is 56 mins? I was looking at a bullet cam - or even a rear view mirror attachable cam - but iam still very much undecided.

considering your filming at night - thus low vision capture, it performs well. seems like a good camera!
