personally i would say, make one your self. that's the best for survival, hands down. other than that it depends on the price you're willing to pay. i would take my gerber armor into the woods any day it cost about 35$. but if i knew i was gonna be surviving i would take a nice fixed blade. it's all your call.

im not 100% sure what maya dust is but i would imagine that if you got a bug drill bit and drilled a few holes and collected the dust, you would have something very similar to maya dust.

If you haven't already seen his videos, I'd recommend the Ontario RTAK 2 knife. Look up Nutnfancy and once you check out some of his videos, I promise you you most likely won't unsubscribe yourself to him. He likes to talk though, so if you can't put up with his talking, then google RTAK 2 and find yourself the cheapest price. It's a big blade but if you're talking true survival, then it's worth the money. The knife in this video is nothing. Good luck.
