@mtenor - you can hang it on any ceiling, I'd recommend professional installation by a contractor but if you know the framework of your ceiling then it should not be a problem. I hung it on my condo myself.

i am thinking of getting one but unsure i know how to hang it or even if my ceiling would take it? do all ceilings modern or old take this chair.@?any info anyone?
