In Ephesians 2:8-9 it says,
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."
Alexxiee, there is nothing that you or I can do to save ourselves. Salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ. It's God's gift to you.
