California College Pathways- Tony's Story

Tony is a graduating senior at CSU Los Angeles. He spent years moving from foster home to foster home and was eventually placed into a group home. Tony has always searched for a way to understand his life experiences and hungered for something beyond his impoverished background. He discovered his purpose in his social work classes as an undergraduate. Tony now views his past as an asset and is passionate about serving foster youth. He hopes that his story will bring awareness and hope to other foster youth who may be afraid to take that first step towards college.
