Need your help!!! What can people buy, stock up on and accumulate right now to hedge against inflation and/or as means to barter. Anything besides Gold/Silver or other "expensive" items.

There are many many out there who can not or choose not to use gold/silver as protection against possible inflation or even worst...hyperinflation.

So, please join in and let's put together a list of examples (and reasons and explanations if necessary) of good bartering items as well as hedges against inflation.

Thank you all for your contribution and support of this channel!

  • Please, someone out there, stock up on weed, i dont wanna live in a world without weed. If theres gonna be alcohol and tobacco, there better be marijuana.

  • Whenever I see items on sale at the supermarket like canned goods or boxed goods, I buy extra. Just watch what is on sale and buy more. Stock up on water, food, ammo, coffee, tobacco, sugar, salt, toilet paper, etc. Might want to buy a crapload of tuna as well since any seafood is going to skyrocket thanks to our elected corporate whores.

  • Other countries that have been threw this say security is on EVERYONES mind . Not massive battles but young foolish kids that want your shoes . Lots of people buy guns but hardly anyone buys ammo . Ammo is not fun to look at . Billions of ammo components exist in the U.S . But Primers will be next to impossible to obtain . Primers are very cheap .... right now

  • Nonperishable foods would be useful, so would condoms.

  • @17seventySIX I couldn't agree more!

  • Another thing you can do if you have very little money to invest (on the order of 10s a month) is to look into foreign currency coins when you go to the coin shops. Some dealers have a box of mixed foreign coins for say a quarter each. Go through them, it's not unusual to find things like 1 Swiss franc, 100 Japanese yen, 1 Polish Zloty, and the like. That's already a steal, plus those currencies will likely fare a lot better than the dollar. You could also look for copper pennies in your change.

  • Nobody will barter food unless food is no longer available or is in extremely short supply. And the only way that will happen is if the world is coming to an end. Unless that happens, then anyone can go down to his/her local supermarket or grocery store and pick up food items without any issue. If the world does come to an end, then who cares...we'll all be dead anyway.

  • Any commodity that appreciates is a worthwhile one to purchase.

Gold, Almond Trees, Canned Salmon, and buy it fast!

Money is worth more now than it ever will be.

  • Supplies are finite, as much as possible grow a survival garden, if you have no spare land then use vertical soil pots mixed with powdered rock dust and charcoal, inter-plant your crops with annual mexican marigolds (tagetes minuta) for protection against pests and diseases, stagger your plantings so as to have fresh produce every week or every few days. Use only certified GE-FREE heirloom seeds of natural genetic varieties so you can also produce your own seeds.

  • HELP EACH OTHER,simple!

    STOP THE DAMN FEAR!

STOP eating meat=FEAR=CREATES DARK energies=being alsO cattle..

  • coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, ammunition, sugar, salt. toilet paper
