Ladies and gentlemen, i would like to present my first steam excursion and I don't think I could have picked a better one to start with
Originally, this was supposed to be 35028 'Clan Line' doing the run but, because she got sick, they had to get the replacement and I don't think you will find a better replacement
In this part of the video, we see two First Great Western railcars, one super sprinter and one pacer bus trying to fight to be the firdt into the station only for both to move and produce the King starting the 5Z96, heading up to Laurence Hill station to use the triangle loop to turn around, to bring the VSOE Pullman back.
After that, it continues on the 5Z96, bringing the VSOE Pullman tender first onto platforms eight and nine and heading down to Bristol West Junction.
Then, out of the camwera view, the trains appears on the front of the coaches and brings them from the West Junction and onto platform 3 where King Edward truly belongs.
Our final scene that we see is a true moment of nostalgia where we see King Edward I under the canopy at Bristol Temple Meads before it leaves, twenty one minutes late, with the 1Z95 VSOE Pullman Service back to London Victoria. Note that during this clip, some drunk douche decides to but in on the clip, blocking the shot completely and forcing me to move and almost get run over by the pullman coaches!
A Fabulous Locomotive pulling a fabulous train. Match made in heaven. Well Done.
