It is not a good (Bengali) practice to say " Dada " for much elder / aged persons. Dada is used just for addressing Big Brother / Anna / Bhayya . " Baboo " is added to such aged persons ( See Anand ) . Baaboo / Baboo mahaashay ( Moshaay ) . Kindly stop using Burmandaa or Anildaa etc. Burmanbabu must be 105 years , had he been with us. I would rather listen to him sing some of his songs than Mukesh! His voice was BETTER than Mukesh. Why didn't he practise more and sing for his films as well???? I do not understand...

It is history that the song is given by Dada Burman to be sung by Raj Kapoor himself. Thanks for posting this song.Otherwise there are no other recorded songs sung by Raj Kapoor and recorded on Rajkapoor either by Shankar-Jaikishen or Naushad or C.Ramchandra or Anil Biswas or any other music director.
