Fort Funston, ridge flying, I lost the ridge lift and attempted a beach landing, but couldn't release my legs from the harness. To see my other videos type "hang gliding Afshin"

fly into ground effect, not into the ground! I've seen some pretty hard landings with folks landing on their wheels, but not slowing the glider down before letting it touch down. Glad they didn't grab the sand... this time. Fun site, stay safe.

looked a lil rough but really was a sweet landing, im sure even more so with the conditions landing right by the water like that.. makes no sense why u cant land up on the top

Experience totalement inverse... J'ai pris contact avec les clubs locaux et on m'a même proposé de me preter une aile et un harnais et de m'emmener dans les sorties du club. C'était il y a 2 ans. Pilotes super sympas et accueillants...

How many flights do you usually get per trip? And how do you get your glider back to the start? I can't imagine having to hike all the way back up to your car! lol

Usually we can fly over the ridge for hours. Pilots with license "2" have to land by the water and walk the glider up (that is HELL!) , license "3" pilots can land back up and fly out again!

You can go to fort funston and ask to do a tandem with a tandem pilot.
