Liverpool Business Week Event: 'How Liverpool Is Recapturing It's Entrepreneurial Spirit'
American entrepreneur and Chief Policy Advisor at the Kauffman Foundation, Jonathan Ortmans headed up a panel of speakers at a recent Liverpool Business Week event, held at the Liverpool Hilton.
The panel discussed how cities can stimulate enterprise and innovation, drawing from their own experiences and discussing strategies that have worked in other parts of the world.
Other speakers included Steve Morgan, Chairman of Redrow Homes, Max Steinberg, Chief Executive of Liverpool Vision, Ged Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Liverpool City Council and Natalie Haywood - Managing Director of Leaf Tea Shop & Bar.
This event was hosted by Downtown Liverpool in Business Chairman Frank McKenna. Frank said:
"The week focused on some of the key challenges that are facing the city and its business community.
"Our speakers were some of the most seasoned entrepreneurs who have a depth of knowledge and an ability to provide valuable business insight to our delegates."
