For Walt Whitman...
America, wha has become of your chidlren's voices? I can't hear them anymore, beneath the sound of war. They are forgetful of their choices, and not enough regretful of their harm. Remember when your skies were blue, and your future was still true? When your air was clean, and the car was just a dream? When your apples and tomatoes grew fresh from farmer's hands. When your speech was free, not stolen by TV. When your liberty had vanquished fear, and your freedom was held dear? Do you remember, America? When democracy was fair, when every person got their just share? When taxation without representation was enough reason for revolution?
I remember when sex was 'dirty' and
the air was clean, yes, I remember.
And then ignorant dumbed down people have
sold us out to the Marxist/Socialist Obama.
Change? From tax and spend, to spend and tax.
Hope you all liked Jimmy Carters double digit
inflation, unemployment and tax hikes, only
now it will be worse. Much worse.
Yes, remember America, and how the
stupid people threw it away in 2008.
