A 1/8 inch steel plate is mounted behind the license plate using existing holes leaving a small receiver in front of the plate. By utilizing a trunk strap all outward torquing forces are converted into downward shear forces enabling the bracket to be mounted on the thinnest of sheet metals.

New technology allows mounting the bracket without access thru the nterior panel. Vehicles with the plate mounted on the plastic bumper skin will require the use of at least two of the supplied spacers and/or self tapping screws to secure to the steel or composite structure behind the plastic.

Kevin, the license plate is a bit hidden by the BIKE...I guess they are really difficult to see for some folks! In NSW we need to use secondary plates if the plate is obscured so that the government can issue speeding fines to create revenue, the plate costs money too so more revenue is added...yippee!

This thing looks awesome. Too bad there is absolutely no way to get a hold of these people 5 business days after I have ordered and paid for the thing. They don't return calls, have no email address on their website, and their order tracking shows nada.

This rack is very instable. Maybe can hold the bike on acceleration, but nothing at hard braking or fast cornering. This is the worst construction I ever seen.

It looks OK sitting in parking lot, but how does it work in the real world under real world situation? Can it handle all the stress and strains caused by car sway, sudden stop, twist and turns, acceleration, etc? Lets see some videos of actual real world test of the rack.
