different ways of thinking give different paths to hope... not every path is right for each person and this is why so many religions and philosophies exist to fill in the need for connect and then to hope.

Light and darkness will exist forever we are just dust in between the changes from light to dark and vice versa.

@NewVinland total misrepresentation? or partial misrepresentation combined with partial misinterpretation? the taoist doesn't care to know, but to just be. a heart beats. it has two movements: lub-dub. yin yang. wu wei. Study the Tao; then don't. sleep; then awaken. breathe in; breathe out. it's a constant motion of back and forth. it's a paradoxical dichotomy. it's everything that represents nothing. and people talk because they desire connection, but the message is often lost in translation.

it's the way of living, not the way of religion. to live healthy and to live in harmony with the universe, both internally and externally. Consciousness!! to be kind to one self, then one will learn to be gentle, be able to embrace others as human.

Total misrepresentation. Tao would exist if there were no hearts in existence. Tao simply is things as they are. It is not based upon emotion.

Living from the heart appears great, but shouldn't we live from our whole being?

I dont realy see where hope is in Taoism <,< if we dont think of the future then what is there to live for? Even if we live in the now what if the now is horrible and painful. How can one live through that?
