@joecanukk 90% of the calls from the airplanes came from the seat back phones.
Other than 1 cell call which lasted, IIRC, for about 2 mins, all others cell calls dropped very quickly.

911 news chopper unable to get cell service filming the towers yet without a repeater jets at altitudes over 8,000 ft were connecting better than my service here on terra firma. I need a new phone provider.
