  • Have her to hold the bottle so that the baby is reaching. It is much easier for them to drink that way. I raise Toggs.

  • I read this guy actually slew the goat mom and ripped her open and took out the babies, seriously.

  • This is a stupid question, but does a female goat need to be pregnant to produce milk or do female goats just naturally produce milk? Thanks.

  • I have a bottle baby. She's ussually under my feet!! =D

  • Daniel, what is your recommendation for easing the kids back into the heard? Thank you!

  • You can freeze the colostrum for future bottle babies. Also, they will not stop eating, it is very easy to create a problem with enterotoxemia by over-feedingbottle babies.

  • could a person freeze the colostrum for future bottle feeding?

  • she wont make a "superior milk goat" just because they are bottle fed! And feeding five times a day is crazy....unless you have nothing else to do. i start mine out three times a day

  • No they will not stop drinking when their full. You need to measure. Their is a LOT to bottle feeding them! They shouldn't be drinking with their head sideways either, but straight ahead instead.

  • will the kids stop eating when their full or do you have to measure the milk so they dont over-eat?
