every hater has an uncle that benches 580 ... god just shut up

Each side: two 100's, one 45, one 25, one 2.5, one 5lb collar. Multiply all that by 2 and add the 45lb bar and you get 600lbs.

600 lb. pause rep....post some videos of your imaginary uncles doing this!!! please

there is no way a person can bench over 700 raw naturally.

Why is there always a hater on here? More like hundreds! You people make me sick! Get a life yo! You people saying this is fake and its impossible to do this kind of weight at his size and bodyweight are idiots. My father... rip. Benched 375 and was 5'8 180 pounds. CLEAN. HE WAS IN THE MILITARY AND TESTED. So quit being jealous negative nancies and let the guy have his glory

I have a question: when one tries to break a record, can the lifter go for the record aftern warmup. Or he has to move the weights up graduately like Rock 560, 580, 600????

This is prolly fake since the wrestlings fake

FYI --this is purely insane raw strength. just notice this is a drug free federation, and at 242lbs bodyweight he benches 600lbs with NO wrist wraps, no belt, feet FLAT on the floor, LONG pause, and he basically slingshots the weight down right after the handoff with control. dam

@Bigmike229 of for fuck sake. its a sanctioned meet. im sure the judges, staff and competitors who loaded and verified the bar are in a better position to say how much it is than some wanker on youtube who thinks hes really clever. shut the fuck up.

God Bless you brother. A raw & drug free lift like this is awesome & furthermore, it's an inspiration to all of us who aspire to such strength through natural good ol' fashioned hard work ! Keep it up and may the Lord show you favor brother.

if anybody is going to bench press 600 LBS raw and clean, there not going to weight 241 LBS. they will all weight at least 300 or more
wonderful effort! Was this pat casey's record he beat?? as far as i know pat casey is the only man to bench 600lb raw and drug free done back in the 1960's!!

Pat Casey's record ended up being 615. It has been broken raw and drug free several times since then. Most would consider the most legitimate heaviest raw and drug free bench press to be 711. It was done by James Henderson (from Florida) in 1997 in an event sanctioned by the International Powerlifting Federation via the United States Powerlifting Federation.
