using Tap Tempo to control delay tempo

this is achieved by having a 'dummy pattern' running in the SP's sequencer. a dummmy pattern is created by making a 1-bar pattern using a sample on a pad which you then delete after making the pattern. as long as you keep this pad empty, you will have an empty, silent pattern that can run in the background - as long as this pattern is running, the SP's effects will sync to the pattern BPM rather than the sample's BPM.
