the riff sounds like Jump In the Fire and the lyrics are similar to Battery so FUCK whoever says that DM sucks

Actually Jump in the fire starts on F#, this tune is in E. Metallica lives of old merits. They haven done anything good for at least 15 years...

@CkY3221 Not saying that the albums sucks, but that didn't make any sense at all... The riff is nothing like jump in the fire, and I can't really tell any similarity to battery with the lyrics? :S

how can anyone say this sounds better than the album version? i mean its ok, but the album version is so energetic and has so much emotion. this one is a little blah.

@MetallicaRules1001 this and jump in the fire have no similarities. The main riff of jump in the fire is G, Bb, C, D, F, D, C, Bb, G followed by C then Bb (or B then A--been a while since I heard it). The main riff to this is E (triplet) A, Bb, E, Bb, A, (repeated three times then ends with) A, G, A, Bb, A, G, F#, F, E. I can understand the tempo being similar at points, but same riff-- no. Not close. If they are, then ring around the rosie sounds like Raining Blood

@CkY3221 Honestly the whole progression reminds me of Blackened. Actually if you listen to the January 10th Minneapolis performance back in 2000 (or any 2000 performance of the song) they play the rhythm part of the harmony section of that Was Just your life (a whole 7 years before the song was written) as the backing for the solo during Blackened.
