The unions have to stop funding new Labour and start standing candidates to support their objectives.
Nobody is going to help the poor except the poor themselves.

Vote, but it depends on who is standing. I'd vote for anybody on the left be it either faction of Respect, the Labour Left or the Socialist Alliance.

Tony Benn, for example, argues that New Labour will be revived after the next election when New Labour will be seen as a failure. It is also possible that trade unions like the railway workers and the fire fighters will seek a political voice outside Labour.

technically no, but that doesnt stop SWP members from supporting it. CNWP isnt about which party you belong to, its about creating a new mass party to represent working class people. I would urge all on people on the left to sign up to the declaration regardless of party affiliation

What I lefties like Tony Benn argue though is that the left needs to be rebuilt in Labour, but seriously when Militant was expelled about 20 years ago, the SLP left because of Blair, and Galloway & others all left. The left is weak and the PLP holds all the power anyway.
No, a party is the only option built on working class foundations and priorities.
