Together they lie on the forest floor..With Cúchulainns seed in her body, the Síog separates herself from himCúchulainn rises from the forest floor but the Síog puts him to sleep. Her body convulses as conception occurs inside her. Then she stands tall triumphantly by the sleeping Cúchulainn in shafts of forest light and thanks all the Gods and Goddesses for the new life accelerating in her womb. She turns and looks at the sleeping Cúchulainn, she places a kiss on the side of his face, she places the flower her mother, the Muireagáineach mother to us all, gave to her beside him.She will not see him again until he passes from the mortal realmShe will not have to wait long.
