  • How much is a real sword to cut stuff with? I bought one at a gunshow and it bent cutting an apple. Great slowmotion too, What cam settings.

  • The swords you see in this video run from 70 to 200 dollars and are made of stainless and carbon steel. The carbon steel sword is the preferred blade sometimes costing many hundreds of dollars. A well made stainless steel sword works fine for this kind of cutting and can be very affordable. Never use and alloy or aluminum sword for cutting they are for display only. You can tell if your sword is worthy by using a magnet. If the magnet sticks it is steel if not, don't use it for cutting.
