4096x, I wouldn't stretch to demeaning Calvin to that point. We have much to be thankful to Calvin for in his reformation against Catholicism, and he certainly had a lot of righteous aspects in his teachings. But he was simply off on a number of his teachings, that's all.

Everything is laid out in his book, which I've read. These videos are a very brief overview of it.

You do not undestand my reasoning. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He does not change in contradistiction to your dispensational and antinominal views. The NT is not the Bible, it is only part of the Bible, thier is an OT also. Do we just discard it because, "That was a different dispensation", a dispensation I would add, that is man centered and unglorifying to God. No embrace all of the bible and all of Gods working with man in redemptive history.

Forgiving your enemies is being a holy example. The secular government is not the Holy Spirit, and the Apostles never enforced legal punishment on anyone. They excommmunicated instead. Christ prevented the pharisees from stoning the adulterous woman to death. He alone punishes sin, not the state.

The Israelites were under a different covenant they were a country so their were state laws however the new covenant is different. God is justified in both covenants. The Israelites would use force under Gods direction becuase of the covenant but now under the new there is no force only the spirit and truth. It isnt a state it is a group of spiritual people.

sorry, but no, we aren't .... look at the example of the early church throughout the New Testament!! you were to cut off fellowship with ppl who were not being true to the faith, not kill them. also, God did not and has not changed in character as Scripture asserts, but He has changed in his working with mankind post-Christ. there is no longer any requirement of a strict genealogy for the Messiah, so strict keeping of that line through the Old Covenental Law isn't our duty today. look to the NT!

Are you implying that we are saved due to our upbringing?

I notice he avoids the biblical texts.... He knows he cannot explain those texts that explicitly state God's sovereignty in salvation....
Thank you Mr. Hunt! Keep it up! God does love EVERYONE and did die for them-just as prophesied in the OT sacrifices, which Calvinists ignore and/or avoid.
