Read this please: This is an introduction to the Japanese art of furoshiki. Furoshiki is using a square (or sometimes rectangular) cloth and folding / tying it into ecofriendly bags, purses, giftwraps, or cases for just about anything. See the video for a small showcase of the things furoshiki can do. The possibilities for furoshiki are endless. I invented some of my own folds while working on the video! See my section on furoshiki at http://origamisquared.googlepages.com/ to learn more about furoshiki and to learn how to fold it.
