This power is made at 12psi/.82bar of boost. Still on 93octane pump gas, with a lot of meat left in tuning parameters (i.e. I took this video somewhat early in the tuning session for this load level). I cannot wait to see this setup at 20psi/1.36bar.

Engine specifications are as follows;

- Momentum Performance single-turbocharger system (Garrett GT3582R turbocharger)
- OEM VQ35DE engine block
- Stock sleeves
- 96mm Arias Extreme Duty pistons (.020"/.508mm overbore from stock 95.50mm)
- Pauter connecting rods
- ACL "Race" connecting rod and main bearings
- Custom billet main-cap girdle
- ARP standard main studs
- ARP L19 head cylinder studs
- Cometic 98mm/.030" cylinder head gaskets
- Ported OEM cylinder heads (mild port and valve work)
- Brian Crower 264/264 camshafts
- Brian Crower valve springs and titanium retainers
- Ported OEM lower plenum
- Cosworth upper plenum
- OEM Nissan 350Z Rev Up oil pump
- Power Enterprise lower oil pan
- Otherwise all OEM Nissan components (i.e. water pump, thermostat, tensioners, etc.)
- OS Giken ceramic twin-disc clutch with upgraded billet pressure plate
- Haltech Platinum engine-management system

  • i like the results on 12 pounds of boost. i was interested in the powerlab kit but im leaning more towards the momenum kit. can you tell me what cams are on the car, the compression of the built motor and any head work done.

  • I would strongly recommend the Momentum Performance kit, we've had nothing but excellent luck with their products, especially their single turbo kits. The camshafts are Brian Crower 264/264, with very minimal port work, nothing serious. I do not have the specification sheet from the machine shop, but I believe the compression ratio is just a tick over 9:1CR.

    It's a very healthy setup.

  • What exhaust? Open?

  • How large of a turbo do you figure could be retrofitted on this kit? And would this fit on an automatic? From the looks on their site, this kit doesn't navigate any piping under the transmission and just has the down pipe near the tranny... which makes it look like it would fit. What do you guys think?

  • pssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh it won't hook
