people need to let this whole slash shit go...yes he is amazing but without axl rose that group would have been mediocer at best...yes they were great musicians but they all sounded the same..axl rose is a rock legend because of his voice...and I mean ashba is amazing so I will stick with watching axl rose and these so called punks then watching slash and fergie play haha anytime

My only thing about the "new" GNR is this, the band themselves are great, the music sounds fantastic and i think DJ ashba is great, BUT axl just cant sing like he used to and to me that was the most iconic part of the band, unfortunately you cant sing like that forever and i think age has caught up with axl and perhaps its time to stop, not trying to be a dick just saying youve got to know when to fold em

i got one thing to say: READ slash's book ...and then you know "why" slash and duff left GNR ...because of axl being such an arrogant guy.... and I think everybody who loves GNR and knows what a great band GNR was in the 90s ....wishes a "reunion" with the old members, because it was killer

@evidentlyavid, I agree with you. I saw the these guys when they came through Canada in January. I went in thinking it might be lame, but I was blown away. I saw teh original GNR back in the 90's and I think the new band is a much fuller and bigger sound. If they can write some really good new songs, this band could once again be a global headliner. It was a really good show with many good musicians.

I know a lot of people only like Velvet Revolver or the new Guns n Roses. I like both. Axl is a legend and I believe Scott will be considered one as well down the road. Both are amazing live. They are both true rock stars!!! On another note, STP's new album comes out May 25th!!!

I`m so tired of the old vs new GNR. Duff and Slash is gone and they are not coming back. It was their decision to leave. Slash is just a hasbeen needle junkie who collaborates with Fergie and the BackStreet Boys anyways.

Axl doesn't even sound the same, the old songs don't sound

the same & the new gnr sux!
