come on ppl. i say this in so many comment boreds. SCOTT CUNNINGHAM'S book..."the trueth about wicca today". read it and use the advice or give it to your family. it usses terms that non-pagans can understand.

@jubiesue I serve no one but God. When I do spells, it's all in the name of God. I don't like Satan & I DO fear *him* because he's evil. I do nothing but good with spells - for healing & protecting only, and as I said - when it's done I'm basically praying to God using a protective circle around me & focusing my energy with God's help.. all in a "Witchcraft" sort of technique. =)

I'm sorry you were disowned...I would Never do that to Anyone especially my children--but I would make them leave my home for practicing wicca. The thing is--if you know that your kid is going to go to hell for his choices--how could you possibly accept it?! That would be impossible for me to swallow. What would you say to a parent who loves their kids and believes in Christ like I do--really. You shouldn't hide it or be dishonest. So how did you approach it?

the problem you have is that you believe to be Christian AND wiccan at the same time when Jesus plainly says you can't serve two masters and the Bible repeatedly speaks about witchcraft as evil and satanistic--just because the have softened it up doesn't mean it is not against God. Satan is a liar--he has been deceiving man from the beginning of creation. Just set it aside and read the Bible--you'll see the truth.

I've tried to covertly educate my dad, but he's very opinionated and he's 61 to him he knows all about Christianity and their views on Wicca/Witchcraft... No matter what I tell him he thinks that since they don't believe in God they worship the Devil in SOME way, no matter what they say. I'm an Eclectic Christian, practicing folk/hedge witchcraft and my dad doesn't know. He's very naive so I doubt he's picked up on our 2 or so talks about it... I don't press it.

@sweetappletits indeed... a lot of wiccans *like myself* are actually coming from christian households that are intolerand to other religions such as wicca, to the point of extremes sometimes. Its a difficult thing to live with as you are having to either be dishonest with your family or risk being shunned by your family if they do not accept it... that's what keeps most wiccans "in the broom closet" for the most part.

All the Wicca girl videos have babies crying, or cats playing in the background what's up with that ? Pick any and wait for the baby noise seriously. Always a facial piercing also. When we try to become an individual we become a copy of individuals... Weird

if she asks her mom if they know about wicca she would go. yeah that religion that little girls follow then stop when they get a relization of what it is. Whats funny if you will all talk trash on me right now but it usually is a phase. which means you need to read more and realize its stupid
