@Fuliginosus Well this surley is more originall and I respect that, but I would have liked it ot end diffrently. I acctually prefer Bergmans version. This production has it's faults. The Queen of the Night looks doesn't look a day older then her daughter and the special effects are rather bad. In Bergmans version the actors seem to fit good and it is set at a real theater and it is always cool to see those old-time styled sceen-changes!

From Amazon UK, DVD player 24 pounds, plug converter 4 pound, DVD 4.93. Less than 33 pound. I have no idea how much that's in american or what the shipping is. The speakers on my computer are only just so loud but not loud enough. I need this disc.

You can get it at the UK amazon site you'll need a multiregion player. Or just order a cheap dvd player from Britain and change the plug. I think this film would be worth it. Less than 5 pounds. That's surreal you can't get a copy in the civilised world but you can get it in Britain for less 5 pounds.

@Metropofan You can pretty much buy it in France. :( I think it cost me something like $50 to import a copy a few years ago, and I can't play it except on my computer because of the region.

Not bad, but the ending there gave me motion sickness and the ending lyrics were very scandalous XD Love Papagena's dress.
