On Friday the 13th, August 2004, Hurricane Charley hit the west coast of Florida with tremendous furry. Cape Coral had Sustained winds of 104 mph. Punta Gorda was not so lucky, the eye hit them directly. I think we were very lucky, we still had a roof! No power for 5 days, but we managed. Trees were uprooted and broken everywhere.
