Flexible Video CameraSometimes we need a small inspection tool that could fit into small spaces and see the reason for that clog in the ventilation, or detect that leakage at the bottom of the gas tank, or even get into a clogged pipe and see what causes the clog. Now we do have this tool - it's the flexible video camera model MT1010. The camera in a flexible hose is a technical endoscope. It is a 60 cm long "probe". At the end of the endoscope there is a flashlight and a video camera. The video camera can be connected to a PC via the 2m USB cable. The device can help you find the small parts you've lost. It's very convenient for evaluating the internal state of hard to reach places such as engines, various mashines or bathroom and plumbing equipment. The illumination helps you see in complete darkness. The magnet nozzle will help you pick up metal screws, nuts and washers. The video camera is very easy to use. Let's install the software from the CD that comes with the camera. We connect the camera to the PC and start the AMCap program installed earlier. Now everything the flexible probe camera "sees" is displayed on the computer screen. Let's press the "Photo" button on the video camera to get an instant snapshot. A window will pop up on the screen offering to save the picture on the PC. Once saved, the picture can be viewed in any third party program. Using the software that comes with the camera we can record videos. They can later be viewed in any third-party program. A handy plastic case is convenient for carrying and storing the camera. The flexible video camera MT1010 will make it easy for you to control any work you do. It can also become a good present.
The hardware is well made but the software is very limited.
There is a Windows 7 updated driver and new video app for this. Google "USB Snake Scope Update" or PiXCL
