  • Very interesting west coast pressing. I have never seen this one before. I can tell it's a west coast 45 because records pressed by "Delta" have a very distinct look. This is probably just as hard (if not harder) to find than the maroon 1rst press.

  • The Jersey Sound at its finest. I can close my eyes and see myself at Newark Penn Station back in 1958 missing my baby watching GG1's and MP54's go towards New York Penn station or head south to Philly. Also seeing Hudson and Manhattan trains going to and from Newark Penn Station to Manhattan to 33rd street. Seeing those Mighty GG-1's and Jersey Central R-s3's with three car consits heading towards Harrison and Elizabeth.

  • pittsburg really put out some great groups back in the day

  • The high voice in the background is done by Fred Wynn not long after he got out of the service, he is now singing with his group called the magic moments show band. I working with him now and have been for the last ten years

  • Whats amazing is how available this record was to find. Im 48 and found maroon copies at gargage sales in Illinois. A beautiful song WILL get around!!

  • @Wehategod A great Pittsburgh group

  • new to this listener and a sure shot here. thank you soooo much for the treat and the fun. tom d brick,nj

  • This group was from Pittsburgh I knew them all well . Their manager was Jules Kruspir who in addition to managing our group also had the Marcels (Blue Moon etc). Their bass singer was Alex a cool dude! Miss you Kenny and Alex. Also check out Canadian Sunset by them - I think it is the best version of that song.

  • I've heard this before but not for a very long time. Nice record and like it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

  • There is "The Cameos", then theres a funk group called simply just "Cameo". I see trademark infringement!

But wtf, "The Cameos" were not famous enough to constitute trademark infringement for the later funk group.
