its want just different how the 70s theme sounded
it sounded really eerie and grim as well as almoast mysterious

i love the pertwee era,this was the days before vcrs became common,my mate at schools dad had a vcr,dont know what it was,the size of a house,i always remember him being obsessed with this and paper lace the pop group,i stayed at his house and they were al i ever heard for a week,lost touch when we left primary school aged 11 and 12 in 1976

@shawnhbkdx90 There wasn't one that was used "once" in Jon Pertwee's
1) There was a version of these titles with the 1967-69 version of the tune (longer build up) used for a few stories in 1971.
2) The end titles for these were flipped upside down for a few episode of The Green Death in 1973.
3) All 1970 stories had experimental ways of showing the story names.
4) There were a couple of episodes with an electronic arrangement of the theme in 1973

@shawnhbkdx90 yes, that's option 4 I detailed above - but Peter Howell got it wrong - it was twice - Carnival of Monsters episode 2 and Frontier in Space episode 5. But Peter Howell is a music producer and not a Doctor Who fan - I don't expect him to get things like that quite right.
