Suggestion: avoid spooling up the motor near any object as you never know what might come off flying from it, even without the main blades... Especially so close to your expensive laptop.

I was spooling up my heli on the floor to test the electronics, but forgot to screw the flybar rod... It came off after spooling up and luckily hit a plastic box and caused no damage -- well, except for the brand new flybar rod which bent and had to be thrown away...
