Am I listening to Poison or Weezer? Rivers, lick my balls. Get Matt Sharp in there with you, do something.

what happened to these guys? i understand that musicians change, they grow up, and many times i enjoy the progression: radiohead, pearl jam, and the clash to name a few. but weezer just shit the bed. "blue" and pinkerton were absolutely brilliant; timeless, even. i really enjoyed "green" and maladroit, too. "green" was a great, straight forward, pop album and maladroit was edgy and loud. but ever since it's been lazy and boring. river's doesn't have the lyrical touch like he used to.

@CozmoFajita ya

@itsmemarioooo Yep! :) I remember when it was all happening. My suggestion didn't get used, but it was still really amazing to watch it all unfold. Rivers is my inspiration for my starting to write music :D

I'm sure Rivers Cuomo's attitudes have changed from a songwriter of 23 years to one of 40, as mine as a music listener have changed as a 20 year old to a 37 year old. If someone digs the blue album now, at this venture in their life, great on them. All I meant was, that's where I was 20 and Rivers when he was 23. For ounce of weed to declare that a liker of the red album must have shitty taste in music... there's no comparing the two.
