I hope Sacramento doesn't blow this. Perhaps the last golden opportunity to make Sactown a destination. If we're going to do this, let's do it big. Riverwalk like San Antonio or BUST !!! Divert a canal through this area. Let's make it absolutely special. Not mediocre.

Wow! The Mayor's "For Art's Sake" project appears to be an idea that was born from the Railyards project. I'm confused. Is For Art's Sake some kind of group that's formed to raise funds? Or is the Mayor using For Art's Sake to divert money to another project? I love the Railyard project! Don't let the Mayor take take it away.

An excellent historical perspective of the Sacramento Railyards impacts on the greater Sacramento region. Being a history buff, I enjoyed the historical perspective of the project. The Railyards project represents a tremendous redevelopment opportunity for the City of Sacramento.
