Amateur my backside! She's really good! I've been riding for years and I still can't make horses go sideways. If she's doing this well already, and on a stallion, then she's gonna go really far. Beautiful horse, too!

He's gorgeous!! <3

Fabulous!! doing leg yields (quite well to boot) on the first ride?? There must have been a lot of on the ground prep work that went into this horse, no?

So, how is she getting on now after a year? Lovely seat, but, like so many amateurs, "broken wrist syndrome". Stallion is gorgeous. My Veiga lines seem to give me chunky mares and wraith-like stallions.

i have a question....i want to get my first horse and im wanting to know..how do you teach a horse to walk like side ways?...this horse is so amazing!!...foreals!
and this to...how do you get a horse to be a built up like this one...or is it just naturaly bid boned...thank you if you can answer my question!=)
He's lovely! Is he considered heavy for his breed? The few Lusitano's I've seen have been much finer.

Well, he's heavier (bigger boned) than some Lusitanos....like Hipogrifo our
black stallion - see him at the website -
but it's not unusual.

The point of this video is to show the stallion's easy and accomodating nature, and that this is a petite, amateur riding him for the very first time. The still photos were taken outside the next day. This is not meant to be a "fancy-schmancy" dressage exhibition. So please take it for what it is.
