Who doesn't want them....us, people? Why hasn't anyone decided to put them back where they came from then. It would be just like some aliens coming down, abducting humans, letting them multiply on their plant and then saying "oh we have too many. Lets keep them from having any more children" instead of taking the unwanted humans back to earth. Why don't we stop throwing money at stuff like this and just put the poor animals back where God placed them! The Wild! Don't spay and neuter!

You make no sense. Domestic animals, such as house cats, and house dogs did not come from the wild. They were bred and raised as domestic animals. They can't survive in the wild. Cats are too small, a hawk can just come an swoop down and take them or any other preditor. Yes cats are preditors, themselves but they cannot defend themselves against a larger, stronger animal that you would find "in the wild". "god" did not place these animals in the wild. Humanity bred them to be pets.

Humanity tamed them and bred them to create many man-made species.

But i agree.

They lost some instincts of surviving outside humanity's arms.
