@99hockeynhl I think size matters very much if you live anywhere inside Vy Canis Majoris' 3 billion kilometer radius! That's over half the radius of our entire solar system, or 32.25 times the distance from us to our sun! I don't care how cool it is, it's gonna hurt if you live inside the hot zone! :-)
