I'm very put off by the "aspyr" logo.

They make the worst ports, like, EVER.

At least the EA Games/Maxis ports, The Sims games in particular (The Sims 2, SimCity etc.).

Ugh... Say is this game worth playing? I had enormous lag on The Sims 2 Mac port on a high end Mac =/

Performancewise I wouldn't know if the Mac version has any problems, PC version was okay atleast.

Gameplaywise, there's a battlesystem in this game where the controls are, well, clunky. Not sure if this is the fault of a consoleport or just the game itself but I couldn't quite get the hang of it.

Storywise it's okay.

You could try manually adding the following line at the end of the link:

It should manually start the HD function and sometimes helps with some of the weird issues with it.

@Omgarrett I've only played the Xbox 1 version of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, but I hear the PC version your playing here is not compatible with any PC USB controller and if that's true I wonder if this game will work with Xpadder (a program that has the ability to emulate a mouse and/or keyboard using a controller or joystick instead) If you have that answer for me fell free to reply to this comment. This game kinda reminds me of Shenmue on Dreamcast the way it plays and the controls.

@loomp I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work really. I think Xpadder works with just about anything where the gamepad controls aren't already defined in the game itself.

@Omgarrett According to Wikipedia Xpadder is not compatible with some online multiplayer games which make use of Anti-Hacking software and games using GameGuard software, but games I tried worked just fine. So I'm guessing Dreamfall The Longest Journey will not work with a PC USB controller since you never answered that question for me and maybe you can download Xpadder and test that for me. I don't use PC USB controllers instead I use a PS2 controller via a Mayflash Joybox.
