At a town hall meeting on health care Obama is questioned by Jane Strum in regards to what kind of considerations will be made for spirit and zest for life when it comes to end of life care. Ms. Strum's 99 year-old mother was fitted with a pacemaker after a doctor was impressed by her zeal for life, and Ms. Strum wanted to know how the President felt about this kind of consideration. And how did he feel? He felt that she might have been better off just taking some pain pills and not having the surgery that has kept her alive for 6 years, smartest President ever!
I'm no fan of Obama but if you're 105 and asking for a heart transplant I'd say "there has got to be no other person on the list".
If you're 105 and asking for a pace maker, well.. if u want to pay for it.. have at it.
Only an idiot says "take a pill"
