Currently based in California, he works as a producer at Wildlife Studios (near San Francisco) but still runs eclectic live music night SCARY GOTCHA CLUB (at The Vibe Bar, Brick Lane, London). His latest live project is dub/reggae/roots band INJUN I but he can always be found gigging as a solo artist in the Bay Area. He has also composed several short and feature-length movie scores as well as engineered voiceover sessions for the BBC and others.
Between 2005 2009, producer, songwriter, mp3 jockey and promoter Martin Wssenberg completed three self-produced solo albums under the moniker PARKBENCH, one of which is currently out on Spitz Records published by Air to Air / EMI and distributed by EGEA Alternative Music (UK). Some of the collectives he has worked with include experimental improv outfit THE CHINAMEN; psychobilly punk rockers GIRLS WITHOUT SKIN; and electro/spoken word duo MUSIC4PRIESTS. He has also booked, managed and promoted well over one thousand live shows at The Spitz venue in East-London including founding, or close involvement with, the London Jazz Festival; The Spitz Festival of Blues and Folk; Fertilizer; and Atlantic Waves. During this time he worked closely with hundreds of bands and labels, including luminaries such as Dick Dale, T-Model Ford (Fat Possum), Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins) and Johnny Dowd.

  • Now WHAT is a young man like that doing out after his bed-time?? And is it 'hurt' or 'heard'?? I love the setting though and the run-down mystique; buildings with wrinkles and lamp posts like bowed ribs on skinny black cattle. Only in London's Congo...

  • Nice moody slow-mo shots and music. One man alone along those empty nighttime streets. Good work!
