Freezeview

My DVB ( Freeview aka Freezeview ) digital TV receiver being its usual perverse self, this time it's decided to start speaking in reverse Klingon. When will someone in the UK actually make a set-top box that is at least as good as analogue reception?

This particular one is an Amstrad badged Vestel, I have 2 others the same that never do this.
This box in the bedroom also sometimes switches itself into standby and then comes back on but on a different channel. It has had a power supply recap but it isnt really old enough to warrant it anyway.
