@ParleysDiesel - what you can also do after having put the muffler on you can go buy and exhaust tip that fits on it it will give you some looks and it will save your bumper!

Nice tip re: the 2 1/2 clamp for added support. i was a bit o.O before i went back & added it... not that it was loose or shaky at all, i just like to take the rough way home (off road) sometimes, and was concerned about it getting jacked out of place or worse - off! now don't worry about it at all. thx again 4 that tip. good to see u guys back and active. =^-^=

I have a 2004 VW Jetta TDI. I'm looking for good racing upgrades for it. Could you please send me a message with some good starting equipment?
Thanks

@ThePiper235 - Start out with this Aero Muffler, a Diesel Power DigiPD module (install video coming out soon), and an AFE Cold Air Intake. If that doesn't give you as much power as you would like, next you could upgrade your turbo with an Industrial Injection Garrett GT17/22 Hybrid Stage II. Then add a Snow Performance MPG Max VW TDI Boost Cooler water-methanol injection kit. There are many other things, but this should get you started.

No turndown? Is the new muffler angled down enough for the exhaust to miss the *plastic* bumper?

@newengland72 - The muffler is angled down enough for the majority of the exhaust to miss the bumper.
