Can anyone explain to me, two things regarding swap magic, one can you still play US games on the ps2 after using swap magic and two can you use the import game directly or does it require cd burning.

Does action replay work with Imports? I have action Replay max and it has a region swith on there.

I'm not kidding around I seriously need your help with my ps2 I can't get my swap magic 3.8 to work so that I can play my KH2 Final Mix. So I'm begging you please help me out.

I installed my flip top cover last night but now my swap magic 3.8 won't work and even if the disc was read I start it up and it dosen't show the ps2 logo. Can you tell me what to do I'm lost with this?

@Spriggangirl Yeah I know that, but the problem is that my PS3 can't play PS2 games because the games are what are region blocked, not my console.

@GenocidalEdge The only difference is that the PS3 is region-free. PS1 and PS2 are regional blockouts.

Okay, I bought an imported game, and I want to play it on my PS3. My PS3 is the older type that can play PS2/PS1 games. Will Swap Magic work on my PS3?

@MrWifiman100 same here!!! I want Swap Magic for Forbidden Siren 2 and when i first heard about Swap Magic i rejoiced. I heard all this "easy and won't void your warranty, no modding etc". Then(luckily)I read up more on it and find out about all this removing the flip cover crap. It just seems like a bit much just to play one game. This is why i wish they'd just release games everywhere and so we won't have to go through all this bullshit to play one fucking imported game...geez

You will have to change the top cover, as the system can tell when you open the normal cover. I know it's an ugly top, (I have a silver ps2) but it works.
