Riding on the success of Toyota Innova and Toyoa Fortuner, Toyota Kirloskar Motors is planning to launch its new product in Innovative International Multi-purpose Vehicle (IMV) segment in India. The new IMV from Toyota is Toyota Avanza which is being sold in Thailand at present and doing very well. The Toyota Avanza is to be positioned below the Toyota Innova and likely to be mini Innova. It is also speculated that it will be cheaper by up to 25 per cent than Toyota Innova hence pitted against the likes of Chevrolet Tavera and Mahindra Xylo. The news of launching Toyota Avanza in India has also been confirmed by a senior official of the Japanese auto major. The officials confirmed by saying that they would bring a second people mover followed by Toyota Innova in India but not an SUV.
Come on Toyota, you can do better! Bring in the Actual 2012 Versions of your cars, they will not only boost brand value but also make the indian customer feel that they are being taken seriously.

@timmhg why???? first of all its made with very-very thin tuna canned, its ride is very frail, and once you reach 100kph it feels like a plane going to take off...
