Isnt it better for games to run on Wine rather than Vmware because VMware is a virtual desktop which consume more computer resource compared to a translater program such as Wine.

while that is true, but most people don't have the time to sit, and do tweak commands to get the game running the way it should on a wine system. Remember you are talking to the average consumer that likes to have things work out of the box.

That's somewhat true but even though every linux user tweaks linux to work or install. I don't see Wine should be a problem.
Anyways what is the distro your using?
