  • @mrKubaSob it is a Tibetan traditional way to show a welcome and respect.

  • Why are the reporters, after the interview, wearing those white wrappers or sth around their neck? I saw the same thing in the picture of the Dalai Lama and Obama. What's that then?

  • Anyone else notice how unusually beautiful those woman's breasts are? The Dalai Lama must have a lot of discipline to not look at them.

  • The Dalai Lama blessed Steven Segal and Richard Gere as "enlightened ones". This man is obviously no wiser than any of us. Not impressed.

  • WOrld would be like heaven if everyone thinks and act likeHIs holiness the dalai lama..we love u his holiness. u r one in whole world

  • Last year's winner of Nobel peace prize and United States President Barack Obama has joined the Tibetan leader Dalai Lama in calling on the Chinese government to release the jailed Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo who was declared the winner of the 2010 Nobel peace prize on Friday.

"Last year, I noted that so many others who have received the award had sacrificed so much more than I. That list now includes Mr. Liu, who has sacrificed his freedom for his beliefs,"

  • Wow, people should back off of the interviewer. Just because her shirt showed cleavage, does not mean people should be verbally attacking her. His Holiness is a very compassionate, humble and understanding man. The Dalai Lama has said several times that he feels he is no better than anyone else. He would not (and clearly does not in the interview) care about what she's wearing.

If he doesn't, why should you?

  • Saúde e Longa Vida para sua Santidade o Dalai Lama.

    Agradecida sempre.

  • the woman dressed very inapporpritate in front of HH. I felt so shameful for HH. Time should have known that they r not interwearing a politician or atthelets or anyone else but a world's top most highly respected simple Buddhist monk. but for HH himself, how she wore matters not much to him cos he is always very understanding, caring, loving and compassionate! LONG LIVE UR HOLLINESS!

  • what a western thing to say. lol The Dali has no concern for this.
