There are 2 kinds of people in the occult. Those that are 'searching' and through occult power... see results and are therefore drawn in.... and there are those that reject God and embrace it. The majority are those 'searching dabblers'.
Unfortunately many Christians either shun occult dabblers or worse harden them more so by using angry/judgmental scriptures or ones that spell out the sin, all out of context, neglecting the reason of 'why'. [The simple revelation of:
"Hmm, maybe God wants a relationship with mankind... maybe He wants you to consult Him."] If such 'Christians' really knew the scriptures, in that, God spells out that sin is as a veil of darkness over their eyes, and so they cannot see.
["...but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." 2 Corinthians 3:16]
This is why the word of your testimony is so important. Throwing scriptures at them is what?
Jesus taught revelation through parables so that it would loosen the soil and be received, and you are to do the same.
["...Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: 'I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.'" Matthew 13:34-35]
These days biblical precepts are everywhere in the occult but with some other label on it and void of Jesus. Searching and open people will respond to those precepts just as Gentiles flocked to Jesus when He preached.

I'm an Occultist. I certainly haven't rejected God. In fact, I believe in many Gods. There are people out there that don't really believe Christianity has any relevance to their lives. I am one of them.
