Imaged with a self mod Canon 500D with an Orion ShortTube 80 on an Atlas EQ-G. These are a combination of unedited 15 second x 236 images at 1600 ISO. We did not know about the Meteor Shower until after we stacked the images in DeepSkyStacker then my son noticed trails and figured out that it was the Leonid Meteor Shower. After he noticed this he decided to edit the pictures into a movie. You can see part of the Shower to the right of Orion.....Look close because the images start out bright at the beginning and get darker towards the end. The Orion ShortTube 80 is basically used only as a Guide Scope and the glass is not as high quality for imaging like higher end Refractors. Currently we are waiting for a Refractor to add to our 8in Reflector for imaging. Thanks for watching!
