yes you are correct sir. it's a bamboo flute it's really one of the famous instrument of any nation from the pacific japan has version of it, so thus the philippines and malay taiwan , china and korea. but they produce different sound depending on how large they are and if it is blown by lips or nose.

@LCRDKazrai You probably heard of them, but 白いしましまうさぎ focuses heavily on using traditional Japanese instruments. Their arrangement of The Bridge People No Longer Cross is very, very good.
